Lacrosse the Nations (LtN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization using lacrosse to improve education and health, while creating opportunity and hope for children around the world.

What do our Service Trips look like?

  • During an LtN trip, participants help coach our lacrosse practices, complete a service project, and have fun exploring local culture.

  • Costs for trips are $250/night per person plus airfare (purchased individually by each participant). This covers all food, housing, in-country transportation, service project materials, and non-service related excursions throughout the trip organized by LtN.

  • We encourage trip participants to fundraise for their trip costs using our online platform. LtN is dedicated to providing every participant with resources, tips, and personalized online fundraising pages to help them reach their goals!

COVID-19 Adjustments: Your safety is our #1 priority when traveling. With year-round staff on the ground at each of our service trip sites, we regularly monitor each community’s current safety policies and case numbers to guide our groups with the best prevention practices. Masks will be required during all travel, youth programming, and certain excursion activities.

Our Mission

Our mission is to improve the lives of children around the world. Lacrosse is our tool. Our programs use the lacrosse field as a platform to teach students valuable life skills and improve education, while ultimately bringing joy to their lives - and YOU can be a part of it. LtN is not just a sport-focused nonprofit, our holistic approach includes:

PHYSICAL EDUCATION & SPORT

Our life skills curriculum focuses on the traits and values that we as athletes learn through playing sports—often outside the specifics of the game. These include work ethic, motivation, response to failure, teamwork, confidence, and self-awareness.

 LIFE SKILLS CURRICULUM

Our daily lacrosse practices provide recreational spaces and physical health instruction that children in our communities lack.  Lacrosse not only offers a platform to practice personal wellness, it also provides students with stability, consistency and strong role models.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT

Our programs work to increase school attendance and improve graduation rates in the communities where we work. LtN provides annual scholarships at all levels for both coaches and student-athletes, along with safe spaces, materials and guidance to complete homework after school.
