Lacrosse the Nations is excited that our team partnership quadrupled in the second year of the program. We would like to thank the teams and lacrosse communities across the globe that have partnered with us, putting an incredible amount of enthusiasm and effort into your fundraising efforts and support. We are grateful to have such a dedicated community of support! You can become an official LtN Team Partner by participating in any of our Get Involved Opportunities.

2011 Team Partners

3D Lacrosse

3D Lacrosse offered to partner with LtN and allow us to spread the word about our mission through their spring break tournaments in Florida this year.  A lot of teams found out about LtN and have become Team Partners thanks to the event.

Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard High School

Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor Michigan hosted an LtN presentation at their LtN scrimmages. They spread the word about LtN by showing the documentary and the story of our program here in Nicaragua. They collected donations and equipment at the LtN event as well!

Connestoga High School Women’s Team

The Connestoga Women’s High School team in Connestoga, PA went above and beyond our vision for a team partnership. The girls planned and embraced an “LtN day” where the JV and Varsity wore LtN shirts to warm up in. The coach also sported one! They organized a scoop for loot fundraiser to raise money for every ground ball they picked up, and had a bake sale at school to raise money before their big game!

Connestoga High School Men’s Team

During the heatwave in Philadelphia, the Connestoga boys washed cars to raise money for LtN. Connestoga went on to win the PIAA boys lacrosse State Championship the following weekend! Teams came up with many out of the box ideas to raise money for LtN this Spring!

Covenant School

The Covenant School in VA ran a clinic for a number of Youth to spread the sport of lacrosse and raise awareness about the mission of LtN.

Highland Park High School

Highland Park High School in Chicago Illinois organized a stick drive to send a new set of sticks down to the program in Nicaragua, and start to create a stock for our domestic programs that we hope to start by the end of the year!

New Hampton

New Hampton heard about LtN through a presentation at an all school meeting this season. They bought t-shirts and wore LtN laces to support the cause this spring! Faculty donated shoes and clothing to send down to Nicaragua with Jenna McCabe, the women’s lacrosse coach and faculty member who went down this summer.

Holderness

Holderness is one of the few teams that is partnering with LtN for the second straight year! Players purchased LtN shirts and organized a score for more fundraiser for their alumni game this year.  They organized a community day that unfortunately got rained out, but look forward to being involved in the future!

McCord Middle School

Over 100 youth laced up for LtN during a McCord Middle School lacrosse game in Columbus, Ohio. Both opposing teams (both a team and b teams!). The  amount of orange flying around the field that night left a lasting impact on everyone who was lucky enough to be there and see it in action!

Middlebury Lacrosse Women’s Team

The Middlebury Lacrosse team in Middlebury, VT sent an email out to their alumni challenging them to sponsor 1.00 for every ground ball picked up on their alumni weekend!  Even though all the alums weren’t able to come back for the game, they were able to be with the team in spirit, and help out a great cause! Middlebury also invited their opponents, Trinity College to participate as well!

Milton Fall Lacrosse League

Ben Jackson, an inspired high schooler from Milton, GA, organized a stick drive to send sticks both for our international programs, and our domestic programs. Thanks to his efforts, we are now well equipped to keep spreading lacrosse, and our life skills curriculum!

New Albany High School Men’s Team

The team purchased merchandise and organized a scoop for loot fundraiser during the game against Worthingway Kilbourne in Ohio. The night was extremely festive as the Lacrosse the Nations banners flew and a speech was made about the organization during halftime!

Notre Dame Academy

Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, Ohio heard about LtN through the Hannigan-Galipault tournament, and decided they wanted to join in! They organized a “Score for More” game where they are fundraising money based on the number of goals they score!

Radnor High School Men’s Team

The Radnor Boys and Girls in Radnor, PA teamed up for an epic LtN night! They chose to host their LtN night on a night where they had a double header. Both teams warmed up in LtN t’s, organized a scoop for loot campaign, and organized a “free” cookout sponsored by parents and the booster club. All proceeds went to LtN!

Seneca Valley High School Men’s Team

Seneca Valley High School in Harmony, PA organized a stick drive to add to our growing supply of sticks ready to head to our new international and domestic programs as they are created this year!

Shenandoah University Women’s Team

Shenandoah University Women’s Team in Winchester, VA started the LtN’s team partner season off strong with the first Scoop for Loot fundraiser of the season!

St. Anne’s Belfield

St. Anne’s Belfield, in Virginia, organized a stick drive to gather the equipment for LtN’s pilot domestic program in the US. LtN is teaming up with the Boys and Girls club in Charlottesville to run a clinic in the area.

St. Catherine’s School

St. Catherine’s School in Richmond, VA embraced the Scoop for Loot fundraiser, and also invited LtN to a chapel meeting to embrace the real meeaning behind the fundraiser, and the cause that they are supporting!

St. Francis de Sales High School Women’s Team

St. Francis de Sales joined the strong support from Ohio and organized a Scoop for Loot campaign at their school. The team rallied support for LtN as they picked up ground balls during their game!

St. Francis de Sales High School Men’s Team

St. Francis del Sales Men’s Team organized a scoop for loot fundraiser as well! They were extremely passionate about spreading awareness for LtN and picking up a lot of ground balls during their game! Their energy and excitement showed how passionate teams have become about spreading the LtN mission.

Thomas Worthington High School Women’s Team

Worthington rivals, Worthington Kilborne High School and Thomas Worthington High School faced off for an epic game and an epic scoop for loot night. Both teams sported LtN  laces, and even posed for an incredible picture together after a very close hard fought game, showing that there is more at the end of the day than wins and losses.

Trinity College Women’s Team

Trinity College was eager to join Middlebury’s fundraising efforts during their scoop for loot game against Middlebury. The rivals teamed up to help LtN despite a very competitive game!

Worthington Kilborne High School Women’s Team

Worthington rivals in Worthington, OH, Worthington Kilborne High School and Thomas Worthington High School faced off for an epic game and an epic scoop for loot night. Both teams sported LtN  laces, and even posed for an incredible picture together after a very close hard fought game, showing that there is more at the end of the day than wins and losses.

Worthingway Kilbourne High School Men’s Team

The Men’s team at Worthingway Kilbourne High School were challenged to raise more money than their women’s team at their event earlier in the season. The team purchased merchandise and organized a scoop for loot fundraiser during the game. The night was extremely festive as the Lacrosse the Nations banners flew and a speech was made about the organization during halftime!

Worthingway Middle School Boy’s Team

Worthingway Middle School teamed up with McCord Middle School to become the first middle school teams to join our team partnership campaign this Spring! Over 100 youth laced up for LtN and were challenged to raise the money to pay for their shoe laces. Some raised much more than the 5.00 that the shoelaces cost.  The event was extremely successful in spreading awareness! They also sold merchandise during the game, and were inspired by a speech made by Greg Bice, an MLL player, LtN board member and organizer of team partnership efforts in Ohio!
